In Fred Thompson's 'Bourbon'
- 24 ounces freshly brewed coffee
- 8 ounces Bourbon
- 4 ounces white creme de menthe
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup whipped cream
- fresh mint leaves, for garnish
- Pour the coffee into a large carafe.
- Stir the bourbon, creme de menthe, and sugar into the coffee.
- Divide the coffee mixture among 4 Irish coffee mugs.
- Top each with whipped cream, and garnish with mint leaves.
- Serve immediately.
