This mop is for keeping meat moist while slow cooking on the smoker. Works well with baby back ribs.


  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter.
  2. Add cider, sugar and pepper.
  3. Stir occasionally until it comes to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in bourbon.
  6. Mop ribs every hour.
