This truly is delicious and so simple to prepare. I served over rice as suggested. The chicken was tender and quite flavorful. No changes required. However, I did not have any apple juice in the house and substituted chicken broth in its place and the recipe still turned out great! When making this again, I will make sure I use the apple juice ;) Thanks for a great new chicken dish that is sure to please everyone!
Definitely one of my favorites. Made it at least half a dozen times. A little too spicy for me, but I adjust.
I've never heard of bourbon chicken before, so I didn't have anything to compare this recipe to. I am a vegetarian so I used Yves (vegetarian) chicken strips and the dish turned out wonderful, everyone loved it. Teens to senior citizens, it was a hit. Definitely a keeper, thanks for posting.

Soooo good! I made this last night and my daughter asked that I put it in our rotation. I did add a little cornstarch and water to thicken up the sauce which I doubled. Served with stir-fried rice.

I made this exactly as the recipe stated. At the end of the cooking time the sauce was really thin and I was not all that impressed with the meat. I tried some straight out of the pan and thought it was just ok, but once I served it with rice and the sauce over the top it tasted really, really delicious. I was surprised and pleased. I'll make this again.
A definite keeper. I love recipes that taste great the first time I make it. I would like to figure out how to make the sauce a little thicker though. Mine was kind of runny.
OUTSTANDING! Everyone in my house loved this recipe! I also doubled the sauce since we love extra on our rice. It was thick and delicious! DH suggested that next time I add some veggies so we'll try that. Thanks for giving me another great easy chicken dinner!
