This version of Boterkoek is more like a shortbread. I can never make enough for my family when we get together.
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 1 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 (2 teaspoon) package vanilla sugar
- Mix all ingredients together with hands until very well mixed.
- Press into bottom of springform pan and bake in preheated 400°F oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
This is an easy and rich recipe and I think that it will be a staple on my Christmas dessert plate. My son just LOVES it and requests that I make it as soon as it disappears. Thanks for a great recipe Patti.
