Dutch Butter Cake

  1. Gently mix Butter, Sugar, Almond Extract & 1 egg together until combined.
  2. Add Flour & mix until combined.
  3. Place mix in greased 9 x 9 pan with a piece of Parchment Paper just in the bottom of pan.
  4. Spread even, brush top with a little beaten egg then use a fork to gently score the top in a checkered pattern, leaving a fork width of space between each series of lines.
  5. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.
