"This recipe was given to me by an elderly lady who was a legendary hostess in her time. She said it came from a famous club and it was very difficut to wrangle the recipe from the chef, but now the secret is out! Delicious!"

• 822.13 g can tomato juice
• 118.29 ml chili sauce
• 118.29 ml ketchup
• 59.14 ml Pickapeppa Sauce
• 946.0 ml water
• 1 onion (finely chopped)
• 1 green pepper (finely chopped)
• 1 head celery, tops (finely chopped)
• 1 bay leaf
• 4 whole cloves
• 14.79 ml sugar
• 29.58 ml Worcestershire sauce
• 1.23 ml salt
• 0.61 ml pepper

directions

1. Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.
2. Simmer 30 minute.
3. Strain and chill.
