    This has to be the best meat sauce I have ever eaten

    Ingredients:

    Serves: 4-6

    Directions:

    1. 1
      cook bacon until crisp in large dutch oven or pan, remove grease.
    2. 2
      add olive oil add onion celery carrot and garlic and saute til soft 10 minutes.
    3. 3
      remove casings from sausage and add to pot along with ground beef.
    4. 4
      cook until no longer pink.
    5. 5
      add tomato paste and stir til blended.
    6. 6
      add red wine and 1 cup beef broth cook until reduced to thick paste.
    7. 7
      add milk, crushed tomato's1 cup beef broth and all herbs,salt and pepper.

      simmer on low heat 2-3 hours.
