My mom has been making this for years too! Being from Michigan, I get Pickled Bologna and use that in this recipe. I also leave out the cheese and use dill pickles. I use Miracle Whip or Mayonnaise depending on who is eating it (I HATE Miracle Whip). If I can't get Pickled Bologna then I will use regular garlic bologna and add about 1-2 tsp of vinegar.

I love bologna sandwiches. You make them and I'll eat them. LOL I really liked the simplicity of this spread, and it was a breeze to make. I really don't like the sweet pickles, so I used dill. I will definately use this recipe again. Thanks for sharing.

This made a nice sandwich spread. The only thing I would do different next time is to use less cheese. I had to add a little more Miracle Whip and pickle for my husband. I like to eat bologna on saltines so I put some on a saltine and it tasted pretty good to me. Quick and easy. Thanks SewADollWatson. Bullwinkle
