  1. In medium saucepan, combine water, 1 cup sugar and vinegar.
  2. bring to a boil.
  3. In bowl blend together 1 cup sugar, salt, flour, mustard and eggs.
  4. Slowly add egg mixture to hot sugar mixture.
  5. Reduce heat to medium; cook until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat, add butter or margarine and stir until melted.
  7. cool and store in air tight jar in refrigerator.
