      I made this for my son & grand girls dinner last night. I did make 1/2 recipe (still had tons of left overs) and did use 1/2 ground beef & 1/2 ground turkey (as per FoodTV site recipe). Otherwise, made as you posted. This is very good and very easy to fix recipe. We enjoyed this very much & I am sure I will make this again and again. Served with salad, roasted butternut squash and Tippins Cornbread 2. Thanks Lalaflutist for posting Paula's great recipe!

      This was pretty good, but I thought the soy sauce was overpowering. I will omit that ingredient the next time I make this dish, and maybe I'll increase the herbs a bit to compensate for the loss of the soy sauce. Thank you for sharing your recipe, Lalaflutist. We enjoyed the dish, which I made for Spring 2013 Pick-A-Chef.

      I have made this several times and in regards to your notation on the noodles. I put the noodles in and let them rest the 30 minutes at the end. The noodles come out perfect. Great recipe!

      This was a quick and easy meal. It does make a huge amount! We are not big on aby leaves, so I only used two. It was still wayyy too strong for us. Next time I think I may leave them out completely. Added shredded cheese to the top...yum!

      We've made this several times, my husband says it's the best he's had. However, the Food Network recipe also includes 1 lb. of ground turkey, and we include that as well. Yes, that's 3 lbs. of meat. It makes a HUGE pot, the cooking times are fine, and unless you feed a crowd there will be leftovers. It reheats very well. We've also added some mushrooms from time to time.
