Delish! Lovely for a nice summer evening. Can be changed to make a diabetic-friendly drink!
- 1 1⁄2 cups fresh blueberries, washed or 1 1⁄2 cups any fresh berries
- 1⁄4 cup dark rum
- 1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup cold milk
- 3 scoops best quality vanilla ice cream
- Combine blueberries or any other fresh berry, rum, and sugar in a bowl and allow to sit at room temp for 30 minutes.
- Place berries and their juice in a blender with milk and ice cream.
- Blend until smooth.
