These were very good muffins. I didn't add the sugar on top but wish I would have...it would have been a nice touch. I made exactly as posted and they were pretty easy to make. They weren't overly sweet but it was nice. Thanks for posting!! Made for 1-2-3 Hit Wonders Tag.

These were great muffins. I followed the recipe as directed but did not sprinkle them with sugar - next time I will. I got 15 regular sized muffins and they were done in 20 minutes. Thanks for sharing breezer. Congrats on your football win!!

What a blueberry pop of flavor! I don't know why this muffin is so much better than others I've tried but the blend of flavors is terrific. Loved the sprinkle of sugar on top. I received 18 muffins from this recipe (standards size tins) and it took 24 minutes to bake. Wonderful texture of the muffin too. Thanks for posting the recipe.

This is a fabulous recipe for blueberry muffins. I will say they are not overly sweet so I was glad I sprinkled sugar on top of them before baking. They make a wonderful little snack. Thanks for posting! Made for Went to the Market tag game.

Made these little beauties yesterday. Didn't have vanilla and the only "sweet" spice I had available was powdered ginger (we're at a vacation rental this week). Added 1/4 teaspoon, but that was too little as we didn't get any ginger taste. The crumb on the muffins was moist and tender, but I noticed they didn't rise much. As I opened a new can of baking powder, I know that its wasn't my leavening agent. No matter though--these were a big hit. We'll make them again.

Very good muffins. I had to use frozen berries but I don't think it mattered. They were super easy to make and baked up beautifully! The taste was great and the texture perfect. Will definitely make again.

Great blueberry muffins! I used powdered buttermilk and made a half recipe, subbed some Splenda. They are light, not too sweet. I do recommend adding the touch of sugar on top to give it a little crisp on top. I made regular muffin size and they took about 30 minutes to bake. Thanks for sharing!

Delicious muffins! I didn't have buttermilk, so used the add-a-bit-of-lemon-juice-to-milk trick, which worked fine. I was fortunate to have wild blueberries, so I used those (and it was a heaping cup, too), and had some leftover struesel from Coffee Cake Muffins which I couldn't let go to waste, so I used it on these. Great addition!!! Out of habit, I beat the butter (not melted, just at room temp) with the sugar, then added the eggs and vanilla, then the other ingredients, and thankfully that worked great. Thanks, Breezermom for sharing this easy and awesome recipe! Made for 1-2-3 Hits.
