Wow, what an excellant drink. This is so good. I love blueberries, ginger, lemons and limes. I used sugar free ginger ale, it made it a little sweet, next time I will use gingerbeer or a spicy ginger ale. This is going to be made often this summer, thanks so much for sharing your tasty tasty drink. Annacia I took your suggestion and made the blueberrie ice cubes with the gingerale. They worked really well, they were so pretty and made the drink taste even nicer. Thanks again. Just updating to add that the beautiful blue color was achieved by using frozen wild blueberries.

Loved this summertime drink. I used fresh blueberries, the lemon and the lime accented the blueberries very nicely. Very refreshing. Made this for a picnic on the patio. Thanks for sharing this recipe its one Im going to enjoy over and over again.

Ok I followed these directions and did not get any of the blue/purple color that Baby Kato has in her pictures. Do be sure to save the 1 bottle of ginger ale because the first does go flat. I used the berries whole and didn`t crush I did chop the ginger. Mine was in the refridgerator for 3 hours and the lime and lemon was not bitter at all. I do have 1/2 leftover so I do wonder if the color will come to be more vibrant. Good and Healthy! Unless of course you want to add some Southern Comfort! ;)
