- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
- 3 cups blueberries
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
- 1⁄2 cup melted butter
- 3⁄4 cup pecans, crushed
- Layer first 4 ingredients. Dizzle melted butter over top layer. Bake at 350 35-40 minutes. After 25 minutes cut through cake mix to let juice bubble through.
This was a very easy dessert recipe! I used Splenda blend instead of the sugar otherwise made as posted. Thanks for posting! Made for PAC Fall 2011.
Needed something quick and easy and had some blueberries to use up. Followed the recipe exactly and ended up with a delightfully delicious dessert. Easy?....no...Effortless is more like it! Next time I will try using 1/2 cup of sugar instead of the 3/4 cup called for as we don't care for as much sweetness as most people. I will be making this again and again...thanks!
