  1. I sweetened with Stevia, and used a mixture of light sour cream, fat-free cream cheese, and 2% milk. Also added a little vanilla and lime zest for a light, delicious dessert.

  2. The cream part wasn't too sweet and my family liked it.

  3. This is a good light summer dessert. I also like to make it with bananas! Yum...

  4. Simple, delicious and impressive looking! What more can you ask for?? I used light sour cream also. My daughter thought the lemon was a tad too strong but I felt the flavors blended beautifully. Don't add the sprinkled brown sugar until right before serving as it does dissolve once on the sour cream mixture. Great recipe!! A perfect summertime dessert!

I live in Omaha NE and am an audiologist at Boys Town National Research Hospital. I love to cook, as does my husband Michael. In the summer, we have a large garden and try to use alot of fresh fruits/veggies in our cooking. We have a 5 year old daughter, Kate and almost 2 year old son Sam and enjoy introducing them to new foods. One of their favorites is fresh pesto smeared on crackers!
