Excellent dish!! Even my non-oatmeal daughter ate it and said it was good. 1c of oats is not enough, so we doubled oats and liquid and dry ingredients but not fruit. Turned out great!

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the oats, half of the walnuts, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.
  4. In a liquid measuring cup, whisk the egg and combine with the syrup, milk, butter, and vanilla.
  5. Spread the sliced bananas in a single layer over the bottom of the baking dish. Top with half of the berries.
  6. Sprinkle the dry oat mixture over the fruit in an even layer and pour the liquid ingredients evenly over the oats.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining nuts and berries over the top.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is browned and the oats have set.
  9. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
