Created back in the 1960's. It was originally made with fresh lemon juice. I got this version from a local bartender.
- Add the blue curacao and vodka to an ice-filled highball glass.
- Fill remainder of glass with Seven-Up.
- Garnish with maraschino cherry and lemon slice if desired.
Aaahhh, Blue Lagoon. NurseDi, you've taken me back to my wild and decadent youth...delish, but potent...handle with care!
Thank you so much! I was looking for that recipe for so long! 8 years ago I had it at a party and nobody wanted to tell me the "secret ingerdients". ;-) This cocktail has such a nice, cool color and tastes just wonderful when chilled.
