The recipe called for a 10 oz can of biscuits which is what I used- this was 5 biscuits and I don't think that could be right. We are blue cheese lovers but this was extremely salty. I will try again but some major adjustments

  • 1 (10 ounce) packagerefrigerated flakey biscuits
  • 4 ounces butter
  • 4 ounces crumbled blue cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Separate dough into individual biscuits and cut into quarters. Arrange in a single layer in an ungreased 9 by 13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  4. Add blue cheese and cook, stirring, until the cheese is melted, about 3 minutes.
  5. Pour over biscuits and bake until the dough has absorbed most of the cheese mixture and tops are nicely browned, about 11 minutes.
  6. Let cool in the pan 2-3 minutes before serving warm.
