Very easy & oh so good! I did add bacon bits and I offered sour cream mixed with blue cheese crumbles. Really, really tasty and we will be making these again. And again. Thanks for posting!
Made this for dinner last night and everyone loved it. I did cheat slightly on the recipe...I marinated my chicken pieces in the hot sauce and then cooked it in the crock pot I know that adjusted the flavor a wee bit but it was out of necessity and the recipe sounded so good I didn't want to wait and make it later. We will definitely make this again. Made and reviewed for the 31st AUS/NZ Recipe Swap.
MommyDiva, I could only give this a 4-star rating at this time. I fully intend to fix this again, and will bake the potatoes in the oven. I tried to use microwave, and the skins did not hold the shape at all, so filling kind of went everywhere. The taste was okay but I think it will be much better when fixed as you call for. Again, my mistake and I know it will be a 5-star dinner when made again!
We enjoyed this immensely. Beyond goodness all set up in one glorious potato. Easy as the dickens to put together, (I made it easier and the only stray from the recipe - sorry!) I microwaved the potatoes first. because my day had so hopelessly fallen behind. I scooped out the potato "meat" just as recipe suggested, and mixed all the wonderful cheese, scallions, and potato and put into the broiler to brown the top. At the same time I took leftover rotisserie chicken, diced it, and put it in the the skillet to warm. Added the sauce and presto warmed everybody up, and there you are, howdy dinner is on the table. Wonderful, Mommy Diva~a real savior in this home. Thank you!
Oh my are these good! I made a batch with the blue cheese for me and a batch with cheddar for DH and wow DH loved them! Thanks for sharing this is a keeper!
Loved the potatoes. I'm in Oz so I didn't have access to Buffalo style hot sauce so I improvised. Liked it but I'm sure it wasn't exactly as intended. Thank you for introducing me to something I hadn't tried before.
