Blue Cheese Salad Dressing

Ingredients:

Servings: 20

• 2 cups mayonnaise
• ½ cup canned milk
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• ¼ lb blue cheese
• ½ cup canola oil
• 1 lemon, juice of (1 tbls)
• 1 tablespoon cider vinegar

Directions:

1. Using an electric mixer, add ingredients in order and blend well.
2. Bottle and refrigerate.

This dressing was exactly what we were looking for when making a spinach salad the other night. We used a good Stilton, and rather than using an electric mixer I mashed it with a fork into the dressing, leaving some larger pieces. It had just the right texture and flavor!

This is a lovely salad dressing. Very easily put together, not too expensive to make and delicious on top of it all. Made it yesterday to use in another recipe and was very pleased with the results. It would also make a really good dip! We all enjoyed it, thanks ever so much for a recipe I know I will be making again!
