Wonderful topping! I'm not overly fond of "classic" burger topping, and this just hit my preferences. I covered the bun with tomato slices and put the topping on top ;-)
Will make this again. Thanks for sharing!

Made for your Football Pool win, this recipe was a great find & a huge DH-pleaser at our house (he loves both green olives & blue cheese). We always eat burgers open-face or ditch the bun altogether in favor of a hamb steak. I made the latter, used your topping for it & combined it w/some fried leftover potatoes & a sml green salad. Like another reviewer, I also left out the salt. DH is salt-restricted, but even I felt it was not needed. Congrats on you FP win & thx for sharing this sure-to-be-used-often recipe w/us. :-)

I increased the blue cheese and olives, left the onion and parsley the same. I used the black pepper, but found that I didn't need any salt due to the saltiness of the olives and blue cheese. I added a bit of olive oil for moisture. I served half on a burger, and used the rest to top a wonderful grilled ribeye. I really loved the topping on the steak. Made for Football tag! Thanks for sharing!!

I made double the topping for our turkey burgers and still found that I would have liked more blue cheese and olives for the flavor to stand out with the buns and all. That being said, the flavor was very good, and I am sure the rating would go up to 5 stars if I played around with the amounts to get it right.

I loved the combination of the blue cheese with the olives. I served my burger on a bed of sauteed mushrooms, without a bun, and with tomatoes on the side! Made for Photo Tag 2012.
