  • Melt butter in a skillet.
  • Add onions and cook until golden.
  • Crumble blue cheese into onions.
  • Stir over medium heat until cheese is melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and seasoned pepper.
  • Stir in noodles that have been cooked with oil and bouillon in the water used for boiling.
  • Cover and let stand several hours for flavors to blend.
  • Reheat slowly (or heat in a microwave) before serving.

  3. DH & I love blue cheese--this recipe brings comfort food to a new level. Served it at Mothers' Day family food fest and it was a hit. Even those not so fond of blue cheese couldn't get enough of it. Will make it again when I don't have to share with so many!
     
  4. Well Deewper, try nr.2. This time I used only sour cream instead Of sour cream & whipping cream, still double the gorganzola,lots of pepper, mixed grill spices, galic & vollkorn noodles.I even kind of waited 2 hours. Definitely worth it!!!
