Hello, ThatBobbieGirl. I made a batch of this for my own personal salad on Christmas Eve, and it is really good, for such an easy thing. I may have processed mine too long, because it was a little runny, but I threw in a LOT of bleu cheese, more cracked pepper than called for,and for some wonderful reason, I bought a really good, ripe lemon, for a change, which really "Tanged" it up. I know I will be making this again,VERY soon! Thank you so much!
Wonderful dressing...it's perfect, and sooo easy! Thanks TBG, I will never buy another "bottle" of blue cheese dressing again!
Homemade blue cheese dressing is the best! I love this recipe. Super easy and tasty. I added just a pinch of garlic powder and it was perfect.
Really good. I subbed the sour cream for my favorite farmers market fresh sheeps milk Greek yogurt ( I don't eat sour cream and this is a perfect substitute) - really great! Also used some Bleu Cheese I got at the farmers market - best I've ever had - comes from a farm in Buellton, Ca. Nothing short of awesome! Look out Bob's and Marie's - I'll never go back!
What a great tasting Bleu Cheese dressing. Very quick and easy to make. I love the tang of the lemon juice and the spice of the fresh ground black pepper. So nice that it does'nt make a huge amount because I am the only one in my family that likes it, so it is ALLLL mine! Thanks so much for posting it was just what I was looking for.
Great recipe! This will be my go to. I like the mayo/sour cream combo. It gives a nice flavor and consistency. I would probably double the blue cheese next time. Thanks!
Yum! I didnt use the processor as I like my blue cheese dressing THICK! This was perfect and SO simple to make. Used on a simple green salad. No need to thin out. Thanks for sharing!! MMMM!
Excellent! I made this as written and it did not disappoint - we used it to dip homemade boneless buffalo wings in, and it was all kinds of awesome!!! Thanks for posting.
Pure, basic, and beautiful blue cheese showcase, with the correct ratio of sour cream to mayo. I loved this. Even adding my obligatory can't-leave-it-alone spoonful of Sriracha hot sauce didn't ruin it.... 'scuse me, I have to go find my bag of baby carrots now... :)
I love blue cheese more than any other dressing. I worked at a restaurant that made its own. In 20 years I've tried them all and none can compare till now. I tweaked this with a tiny splash of Worcestershire sauce and 1/2 teaspoon of white vinegar on top if the existing ingredients. I also left out the salt.
