We lay thick sliced bacon strips over a rack inside a sided baking sheet and bake in a 350*pre-heated oven for 30 minutes-be sure to watch it the last few minutes, some ovens are hotter than others. I pat the bacon with a paper towel when it comes out of the oven, it's not as greasy prepared this way. We sometimes bake extra bacon, crumble or not when cool and put in a zippy bag in the fridge for other uses. Also, if making for company I use a combination of butter and red leaf lettuces and a mix of red, yellow and orange cherry tomatoes sliced in half. It's really pretty and looks expensive!!
