This is a converted recipe from Taste of Home Good Food Kids Love. It was originally called Sloppy Joe BLT's, but it is nothing like sloppy joes and I thought it would be better to use pita pockets rather than bread and remove the sloppy part altogether. The filling is from the original recipe though with a minor adjustment.

  1. Combine lettuce, tomato cheese and bacon.
  2. Separately combine mayo, vinegar, salt and pepper; spoon over lettuce mixture and toss to coat.
  3. Spoon about 3/4 c into each pita pocket (try them warmed).
