A great dip to take to gatherings in the summer! Good way to use up tomatoes from the garden!
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 bunch green onion, chopped
- 1 large tomatoes, diced
- 1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Chill at least 2 hours.
- Serve with Ritz crackers.
- Tastes like a BLT sandwich.
This is a delicious recipe. A friend of mine adds toasted bread chopped into chunks to hers, so it tastes like a sandwich!
This dip was a great addition to our Mother's Day cook-out. The guys especially loved it! Thank you for such a simple, tasty recipe!
This recipe was a hit at my Bunco group last night. I only had 2 green onions so I used them as garnish and added 1 teaspoon of onion powder and 1 teaspoon of season-all. I used a lettuce cup to serve the dip in. I also seeded 1 home-grown and 1 store bought Roma tomatoes so that it didn't add any additional liquid to the dip. I made it up in the morning and it had all day to settle. Everyone asked for the recipe.
