  1. Cream butter and suar.
  2. Beat egg yolks into milk and stir in flour, baking soda, powder and vanilla.
  3. Spread into 2 9 inch pans.
  4. beat egg whites and cream of tar tar until stiff.
  5. Gradually add sugar.
  6. Fold in nuts and spread over batter.
  7. Bake at 325 dgrees for 40 minutes.
  8. Let cool and layer with vanilla pudding.

The cake itself did not yield the same result as I was hoping to, I have tried this cake years ago and have been searching for it ever since.
