Thanks for posting this. I used to make this a lot, then I misplaced my Joy of Cooking (recently found!) Very easy and tastes great, especially on asparagus or grilled salmon.

Great recipe! I only had bottled Lemon juice but it worked fine. Absolutly will use again.

This is the easiest hollandaise sauce I have ever made and is delicious. The only thing different that I did was the I coddled the eggs first. Great recipe.

Sugarpea, I will never make hollandaise any other way again! I was cooking in a friend's kitchen--couldn't find cayenne--used paprika and and white pepper. Otherwise, did exactly as told (a somewhat rare thing) and the results were perfection. I can't thank you enough!!

Wonderful! I'd lost my recipie in a move, and this is SO close. I think the old one used white pepper, but the cayenne is fine. I made Eggs Benedict for the first time in ages. How nice to have this recipie! Thonks for posting!
