Blast from the Past Low Carb Ham and Scallions With Cream Cheese

Put these out on a buffet and they are the first appetizers to vanish. You just might eat more than you serve.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 scallions, trimmed
  • 12 slices ham (packaged works better than deli)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, Philly of course, softened


  1. Spread each slice of ham with cream cheese and place a scallion on the long end, rolling them up jelly roll fashion. Trim dark ends of scallions.
  2. Secure with toothpicks and then cut between toothpicks to make little bite-sized pieces.

This is always a crowdpleaser! I also use hard salami instead of ham sometimes. I like to use the whipped cream cheese for easier spreading. Definitely a great lowcarb appetizer for any event.
