Thank you so much for posting this wonderful pie recipe. It is so pretty with the 3 colors, and the flavor was absolutely wonderful. The texture was good the flavors were balanced. Truly a beautiful and tasty experience. Thanks for sharing this keeper.
Runny, would not set. Once cut into my table looked like a crime scene. Tasted good, just didn't firm up.
Turned out great, tasted like a berry pie, not a berry flavored SUGAR pie! I took other's advice and added 1tbsp cornstarch but it was still a bit runny. Next time I'm going to add a total of 3 extra tbsps, just fyi!

If you like a tart berry pie like I do, this is a great recipe. I've been looking for a more tart recipe because the one I had was way too sweet. I would also add 1 more tablespoon of cornstarch as mine was a little too runny. If you have a local bakery that will sell you clear jell that is the best way to thicken a pie. I was worried that 6 cups of berries would not fit in my 9 inch pie plate but it did. I will definitely make this recipe again.
This pie was wonderful. I used my own recipe for pie dough, but it's the filling that has impressed me. It's not too sweet, that's what I love about it and I will not change the amount of sugar. How refreshing to have a pie that doesn't kill you with sweetness! But that's just me. I've made this twice. The last time I added about a tablespoon more cornstarch in the tossing, and the pie set up very well. YUM!
