I have not tried this recipe. I got it from Weight Watchers.
- 3⁄4 cup blackberry
- 1⁄4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1⁄4 cup plain fat-free yogurt
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1 mint leaf, for garnish
- Reserve three blackberries and put remainder into a blender or food processor. Add applesauce, yogurt and milk. Blend or process for 15 to 20 seconds until smooth.
- Pour into a glass and decorate with reserved blackberries and mint.
A very refreshing smoothie, esp. with frozen berries. Sadly, I didn't realize my mother had already used most of our blackberries :-( So I subbed mostly raspberries and blueberries. I also halved the milk because it made a nice cupful anyway, and I prefer a thicker smoothie. Not bad at all!
