I get black walnuts from my MIL and make these every year. Its a bit time consuming opening all the walnuts but the cookies make it worth it every time.
- Cream sugar and butter, add rest of ingredients.
- Make a soft dough --
- Chill, then cool and cut with a cutter.
- Bake to golden brown, about 8 minutes.
