O this was so good!!! Made it with a mix of rice milk and almond butter instead of cream and topped with rice whip, using sour cherry juice. Wonderful treat!! Thanks for sharing! Will definitely make it again!

Yum! I experimented a little to keep the sugar down. I used sour cherry juice where it is an option and used artificial sweetener instead of the sugar. It was still very rich and decadent. Cherries are my favorite fruit and I really loved the cherry-chocolate combination. Glad to have found this treat!

*Swoon* Pure heaven in a mug. I made the non alcoholic version and loved every last drop. No fresh cherries for the garnish so I just used a maraschino. Rich coffee, bittersweet chocolate and cherry. It just doesn't get any better than this! Made for Photo Tag with complete joy.

Nummers... this is good stuff! We had to improvise just a bit on the cherry portions; no fresh cherries in season so we used Maraschino for garnish and substituted a concoction of grenadine, vodka, and cherry extract in the whipped topping, and just a splash of the cherry extract in the coffee itself. Might be even better with the original stuff, but pretty good like this! We noted that ground candy canes or a sprinkling of coconut would be a nice variation, and joked that this shamelessly non-dietetic beverage contained all four of the basic food groups: sugar, fat, alcohol, and caffeine. Very nice! Made for Photo Tag, Nov. 2008.
