  1. It may just be me, but I found this cornbread to be underwhelming and soggy, instead of that lovely moist richness that good cornbread usually shakes out to be. It may be the many add-ins or the fact that I've never actually tried to make cornbread before (I sheepishly admit.)

  2. Delicious, hearty casserole. Peas and cornbread in a casserole--Southern heaven.

  3. Well, now I know why this has so many high ratings-it's delicious. I did cut way back on the salt but otherwise followed the recipe. We enjoyed it immensely w/ Mixed Green Chowder recipe #121222.

  4. This was wonderful, we couldn't stop eating it. I was thinking of adding a can of Rotel tomatoes the next time I make it. I am going to add more cheese too. Thanks Nurse Di for another fabulous recipe.

  5. I really liked this. I served it as the main dish and it was very filling. I never would have thought to make this combination, but it is very good.
