Oh so simple, healthy and delightful! I ate it with Healthy Baked Corn Tortilla Chips (Homemade). I love the flavor the cumin adds and the fact that I only have to add one spice. I will definitely be making this again!

Simple, and simply delicious! This is my new go-to starch side dish recipe, with ingredients I always have on hand. The cloud of fragrance that rose up when I poured in the canned beans was wonderful. When serving, I topped with dollops of reduced-fat sour cream and fresh snipped cilantro. And hot sauce. Yummers! Beans are hard to do exceptionally bad or exceptionally good, especially from a can. This recipe is exceptionally good. It is so simple, but you will be surprised at how good it is when you try it. We were! :) The key is definitely using the starchy bean juice from the can, this creates a yummy thick "sauce" for the beans. The only thing I would do differently next time would be to chop my onions fairly fine, rather than coarsely as I did. Thank you for sharing, made for ZWT4.
