  1. Sauté onions and garlic in oil for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the next 5 ingredients plus ¾ cup water.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Puree ¾ of the soup and return.
  6. Stir in orange juice.
  7. Simmer 5 minutes.
