A twist on conventional hummus. This is yummy on pitas.
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, reserve liquid
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon tahini
- 3⁄4 teaspoon cumin
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Mince garlic in food processor. Add beans, 1 tbl of reserved liquid, and the remaining ingredients. Process until smooth.
I don't think...wait...nope... no, I haven't ever made black bean hummus prior. But, will do so again!
