This was pretty good. I have never had cold black beans. I like black beans, but I really didn't care for them cold. I had leftovers which I warmed up the next day. I added chopped green onions to mine which improved on the flavor a little bit. I will be making this again. Thanks for a great recipe kitycara.

I changed this just slightly to use up some leftover ingredients. I had half a can each of kidney beans and hominy so used them in place of the can of black beans. Otherwise followed the recipe. Wrapped it in a flour tortilla for a quick dinner. Thanks!

Very good! I like to add fresh cilantro and onion as well. This also works well with pinto beans!

This was wonderful! I made this with a can of black beans I had in my pantry. I served it over romaine and iceberg for a sort of black bean taco salad effect. I added some salsa and chopped green onions to give it a little more southwestern kick. Was easy and mucho delicioso!!

OH MY These were Good!!! I followed the directions exactly and then warmed a tortilla put some pan fried potatoes and some strips of red pepper and topped it with the black bean mixture. It was absolutely perfect. The sour cream went well with the potatoes and the heat from the cayenne was perfect for our tastes. The red peppers gave it a bit of a crunch. Thanks for a great lunch KIttycara!

I took the suggestion of the previous review and added some chopped onion. I also increased the cheese and garlic. I served it as a wrap with slices of avocado, tomato and olives and added shredded lettuce. Yummy! Thanks for sharing this great recipe, kittycara!

This was an alright pita filler that I made for some lunches today. At first I made as stated, but it seemed a little too plain. So I added some chopped onions, celery, and other random veggies I found in the fridge. I used low fat sour cream and cheese and it still tasted fine. Over all a good filler that you can play with to suit your likings.
