This was very good. I also halved the recipe. I used a very chunky salsa and at first only put half a can of black beans in the mix. Then I decided, can't waste them, so I threw the rest in. This is a great worknight meal. On the table in less than an hour. I served with refried beans. Thanks for the keeper. Will make again. Sue

This one is definately a keeper. We all loved it with the exception of my picky preschooler (but her younger brother sucked it up) I did halve the recipe since there are only 4 of us, and I used the bisquick method since I happen to be out of flour at the moment (not sure how I let that happen). I thought it was delicious. The only thing I might try different next time is to try the biscuit mixture with cornmeal, to give it even more of a southwestern flavor. Great Recipe!

Easy to make and our family demolished this dish; even our vegetarian daughter loved it but did pick out the meat.
