Awesome! I made it this weekend for a birthday party and it was a huge hit! I did add more tomatoes and a little more sugar, but that was it other than that I followed the recipe to a T. This will be my go to black bean and corn salsa from now on, it is fantastic! I can't wait to try it on a fish dish.

This is OUTSTANDING. I just created a RecipeZaar account so I could rate this recipe. I didn't include the sweet red peppers and substituted a couple splashes of hot sauce in place of the jalapeno simply because I forgot to buy the two ingredients and it was still fantastic. Thank you. Will definitely share this recipe.

Try adding in some chopped avocado, it's yummy! Some chopped chipotle peppers in place of the jalapeno is good , too. I really like this with Frito's Scoops, but I also have been thinking of trying this in a wrap, Kim127!

Absolutely fabulous. My GIL and MIL made this for me over Xmas and now I found the recipe! A full 5 stars for being healthy AND tasty AND easy!! I substitute black eyed peas for black beans out of personal preference.

Fabulous! So easy to put together and such a great combination of flavors. We served out with tortilla chips but I also think this would be great as a sandwich topping, in a wrap or something. Thanks Rita!!

I made this for a potluck picnic and it was GONE fast!! I made the recipe as listed: the dressing is fabulous and the jalapenos really give this dish a kick without going overboard. I ate this dish with some tortilla chips, my hubby put it on his burger. We are already planning other ways we could use this: it would taste super on chicken or fish! Thank you for this great recipe.

This was fabulous! I made it for a potluck at work and even the non-veggie eaters loved it. I was afraid to make it too spicy since I wasn't sure how everyone at work liked spice, so i only used 1/2 a jalepeno. Next time I make it I may use a whole jalepeno but I think 2 would be too much for my personal taste. The dressing is wonderful; I wanted to drink what was left on my plate but thought it best to wait and do that when I got home. I think the flavor is best if you refrigerate the salad overnight. I will be making this again and again.
