I've never eaten at Black Angus, so I can't say if this is as good as theirs, but this was indeed very good. I made it with parmesan cheese and used only the white parts of green onions. I was skeptical of the mayo, but it really did turn out well...so much so that I regularly use the spread on grilled corn.

Just like Black Angus... it is soooo good!... and easy. I cut the recipe in half or even less because it makes so much. It is my go-to garlic bread when I want to impress :)

This is a great garlic bread.I was going to post it myself. The next time I make it I will only make half of the spread as it makes quite a lot, but add more garlic.I looked for this recipe for awhile and never would have guessed it had mayo in it.Very good!

shh, no one tell my husband it has mayonnaise or he won't eat anymore. This is a wonderful cheesy garlic spread. I love Black Angus for their Potato Soup and Cheese Garlic Bread. Thank you for posting.

I used to eat at the Black Angus Restaurant and always ordered this bread to take home. This recipe is a exact match. It is PERFECT!!!

This is FABULOUS!! At first, as I was spreading on the cheese combination I thought it might be too much. But it isn't, it's absolutely PERFECT and DELICIOUS!! It was scarfed up immediately and I was lucky to get one piece!!

This is it! I at this every day dipped in a bowl of baked potato soup for lunch. It's fantastic! I did't have Montery Jack, so I subbed with a bit of mozzarella and loved it. Mine took longer to toast .. around 8 minutes under the broiler, however this is certainly because I tripled the amount of spread on the bread :) Update: I did this with LF Hellman's mayo and no one knew. Love it!

This makes a lot of the topping, and I felt that it was a little too much. I grilled the bread instead of heating up the house with the oven on this hot day. Overall, the flavors were good, but I would cut back on the cheesy topping next time.

Great bread! First time I used Miracle Whip and I didn't care for it, next time I used real mayo, what a difference!

This turned out good. It makes a lot of spread, and I almost felt like it was too much, and maybe next time I make it I might not put it on quite so thick. But the taste was good, and a slice warmed up in the microwave great the next day (15 seconds for one slice). I will be making this again.
