Can substitute turkey sausage or reduced fat cheese for a healthier version. Couldn't be easier!

If you grew up in the south and are used to dense Bisquick sausages balls - this is NOT the right recipe. These are biscuits with some sausage and cheese tossed in.

  1. Brown sausage in a frying pan, crumbling it as it cooks. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine Bisquick, water, and cheese. Stir, then mix in cooled sausage.
  3. Wet your hands (so the meat won't stick) and roll into small balls. Bake on cookie sheets at 325 degrees for about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
