Made for Summer, 2009 Comfort Cafe. Very simple to make, smells wonderful baking, good texture. DH is already working on his second biiggg piece and the bread is still warm!!

Great, easy and quick. Made with things I already had one hand, saving my poor ever-so-fast ripening bananas. I did not have chocolate chips on hand and I actually used a bar of Nestle Aero chocolate that I cut into choc chip sized pieces. Came out great!

Yum! I've made this 3 times now. The second time, I added 2 heaping tablespoons of unsweetened coconut and some pumpkin pie spice. So good. And the third time, I made it in my new cast iron loaf pan. It came out dry that time, so I think I'll ad more oil. One other thing to note: all 3 times, I had to cover the loaf with foil to prevent it from burning.
