Great, easy and quick. Made with things I already had one hand, saving my poor ever-so-fast ripening bananas. I did not have chocolate chips on hand and I actually used a bar of Nestle Aero chocolate that I cut into choc chip sized pieces. Came out great!
Made for Summer, 2009 Comfort Cafe. Very simple to make, smells wonderful baking, good texture. DH is already working on his second biiggg piece and the bread is still warm!!
I have been making this bread for years!! It's so easy to make and so delicious!!
darlene liked this alot easy recipe
I made this in mini spring muffins and regular spring muffins for my kids. They were a huge hit. Very soft and moist. We actually 2&1/2 the recipe to finish off the over ripe bananas that turned to quick. Yielded 24 large muffins and 24 mini muffins from half the batter and we froze the rest of the batter. Hope it still works good when we cook it again.
Yum! I've made this 3 times now. The second time, I added 2 heaping tablespoons of unsweetened coconut and some pumpkin pie spice. So good. And the third time, I made it in my new cast iron loaf pan. It came out dry that time, so I think I'll ad more oil. One other thing to note: all 3 times, I had to cover the loaf with foil to prevent it from burning.
Love this recipe. great way to use bananas and it tastes sooo good!!
