Bisquick Cheeseburger Pie

"This is ridiculously easy and my kids love it. You can add other spices, or even tomatoes. You can also change the cheese to make it your own. I've varied it depending on what I am in the mood for and what I have on hand. I always use ground turkey; the original recipe called for ground beef."

  1. Used ground sausage with a beef bullion cube (I should have reduced the recipe's salt) and added 1/2 onion while it browned (and 2 cloves garlic just before draining it). Poured a can of diced tomatoes (for veggies) on top before the cheese. Followed the recipe for the rest. Kids weren't crazy about the tomatoes, but I thought it made a tasty (and easy) lunch.

  2. Doubled the recipe and used ground beef instead of turkey. Also added a package of taco seasoning to the beef and made it a mexican pie. Everyone thought it was delish.

  3. This was sooo yummy! I love that it's very easy & you can change it around. I used lean ground beef, & instead of 1 cup of onion, I used about 1/2 cup of onion seasoning. My kids loved it, my husband likes it & I adore it. I do add extra cheese, & I use colby & jack cheese mix. Love this & it's great for busy nights!

  4. easy to make, I used ground beef as my kids prefer it to turkey. They ate it and didn't complain, hence a 4 star.

  5. Made this for the family and we loved it. The only changes I did was use onion powder instead of onions and I used low fat Bisquick. Will definitely play around with this. I like the idea the other poster had about adding mushrooms and other spices.
