Had some buttermilk to use up and found this recipe. Very easy to make. I made it with brown sugar for the caramel effect. Mine took about 50 minutes to cook. It was good when it was warm, but, wow, even better cold! I can see myself buying buttermilk just to make this again! LOL!

  1. place all ingredients in blender and blend till smooth.
  2. put ingredients in a pie pan (no shell) and bake in an oven at 350 until fork in middle comes out clean.
  3. **Io make a caramel buttermilk pie use brown sugar instead of regular sugar.
