  • Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Sir ingredients until soft dough forms.
  • Drop onto baking sheet by spoonfuls or turn onto a surface dusted with flour, knead 10 times, roll 1/2 inch thick, cut with 2 1/2 inch cutter.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

  1. I can't believe how easy this was. I used a trick I saw on America's Test Kitchen. Spray a metal 1/4 cup measuring cup with non-stick spray; scoop some dough in the cup with a rubber spatula, then flip it out on the baking sheet for uniformly shaped drop biscuits. Works like a CHARM. Very tasty too. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for My3Chefs Nov '09.
     
  2. Nice recipe. This was perfect for 2 of us. I tried ElaineAnn's tip, but it only worked for me on the first biscuit. I'm guessing that you might need to spray each time. This produced 5 (1/4 cup biscuits) that we really enjoyed. But since I dropped one on the floor - the dog enjoyed one too. :lol: Thanks for sharing. Made for Cooking Tag Mania.
