These were incredible! I was looking for a recipe to make my family's famous "cinnamon biscuits" that did not have shortening, since I have a child who is allergic to soy. I gave this a shot and we loved it! They puff up more and are more tender than a traditional baking powder biscuit, and the flavor, oh! The flavor was wonderful! I followed the directions until time to roll out, then patted about 1/4 inch thick, topped with melted butter and cinnamon sugar, rolled, and cut into 16 slices. They were perfectly done at 15 minutes. They don't brown quite as well but as that was the ONLY drawback, 5 stars for sure!
Super Easy! Had everything on hand. Biscuits were full of flavor, just what I was wanting. thanks for posting!
These were really awesome! I never would have imagined cream cheese in biscuits but they were wonderfully moist and delicious! The top didn't brown and I thought about putting an egg wash on them for the last few minutes the next time I make them which will be this week! Thanks!
Wonderful! My sister loves biscuits and since we ran out of packaged, I made this. She absolutely loved them!
I tried this recipe this morning. Superb!! A friend asked me if I knew of a good biscuit recipe. Since I didn't, I came to recipezaar.com and found this one. My grand kids couldn't get enough. I was able to save a couple for my friend and will take them to him tonight.
I loved this recipe! Wow, never thought of using cream cheese, which is odd because I'm the cream cheese queen. I made these with my Phyllis' Chocolate Syrup and they were devine. Thanks for sharing. ~V
