A lite Anise flavored Mexican cookie that is a favorite in any kitchen.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Mix flour, lard, sugar, baking powder, anise and salt.
  2. Add eggs and mix.
  3. Add milk and mix.
  4. Roll out on floured surface to 1/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters.
  5. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees (depending on oven).
  6. Makes approximately 5 dozen cookies.
