  1. Drain the can of cherries and reserve the juice. Dissolve gelatin in the boiling water. Combine reserved cherry juice, lemon juice and enough cold water to equal one cup and add to gelatin. Refrigerate until slightly set. Add cherries and walnuts and pour into a 4 cup mold. Chill until firm.
