Tequila based cocktail. Serve in a Collins glass with a straw.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 ounce tequila
  • 34 ounce Amaretto
  • pineapple juice, to top
  • 1 ounce grenadine


  1. Fill a Collins glass with ice.
  2. Pour in tequila and amaretto.
  3. Fill with pineapple juice, and top with grenadine.
  4. Garnish with a cherry.

Now i don't like amaretto or tequila but they're sitting in the bar & I'm willing to suffer for my ZWT teammates so gave this one a go. I used half the amount of grenadine and a lot of pine juice to help dull the flavours I don't like. I could still taste the amaretto slightly but not enough to offend the taste buds. this was a nice fruity mix that disguises the flavours I don't like wonderfully.

I concur with Nancy, it does taste like Hawaiian punch! Since i am new to mixed drinks...husband was warning me that Tequila tastes like butt so I was glad that this was so sweet and fruity. LOL. Enjoying this very much. First birthday drink down and hopefully more to go. Made for ZWT4.

Oh, it does take sort of like Hawaiian Punch. Definitely a tropical fruity sort of drink....maybe for the beach in Italy??? Thanks, it is definitely one I would make again. I did cut back on the grenadine just a bit....
